...wherein the Author attempts to distill some helpful signal from the overwhelming noise.


Way back — back in the seventies — I was born. It was an era marred by an oil crisis and disco. Not much really happened for quite some time. Later, I would attend high school with seven other Mikes and lose my given name in the eyes of my friends. Shortly thereafter, it was off to University where the learning sometimes takes a back seat; it was an era marred by the crappy Star Wars movies.


Then, everything spiraled out of control! Thee heavens crackt wide and vengeance spilt forth! Actually, neither of those things happened: In 2004, I became a father to a wonderful little girl, and everything's been good since.


Of note: I also play drums in a funk/groove intrumental band known as The Pejoratives. We kick ass.
